Social Care Admin Assistant
Domiciliary Homecare Provider
Salary: £7.50ph (£15,000pa)
Contract: Temp to Perm
Location: Northampton

We are currently seeking a Social Care Admin Assistant to work at a domiciliary homecare provider based in Northampton. Initially this is a 3 month contract role which a view to go permanent for the right candidate.

The Position:
You will be working within a small office providing administrational support to the management and senior care team.

There will be many tasks incorporated within the position of Social Care Administrator including:

  • Assist with creating and developing rosters
  • Conducting and writing up risk assessments
  • Reviewing and creating care plans
  • Administrational duties including processing standard letters and filing
  • Provide a reception service including answer phones, forwarding messages ect.
  • Maintain and update personnel files
  • Assist with covering care calls when the co-ordinators are busy

The above is a brief description of the principle duties and not a full job description.

The Person:
Previous experience working within a care environment is essential as you will be involved in creating risk assessments, managing care plans and review personnel files. You will have the ability to organise and prioritise workload with experience working within a fast paced office environment. Due to community based nature of the role you Must be a car driver with own vehicle.

This position may be suitable for candidates with experience working within the following positions: administrator, care coordinator, senior carer, field care supervisor, admin assistant, office assistant, office junior, HR assistant, personnel and human resources.
