We’re looking for a Production Engineer to join one of the UK’s leading manufacturing businesses. The company make specialist clamps and service a wide range of industries throughout the world, including high performance clamps for Automotive, Process and Aerospace applications. This is your chance to join them.

Your role will primarily be to provide technical support to the organisation to ensure that the business objectives are achieved.

You will monitor and analyse the current manufacturing methods to create improvements in cycle time, scrap reduction, and process design. You’ll also prepare process designs for new products, ensuring all jigs and tools are available in the required timescale.

We’re looking for someone with excellent organisational, time management and communication skills who had an exceptional knowledge of modern manufacturing methods with practical experience of implementation preferably gained in an Automotive supply company.

You will possess strong problem solving and IT skills (experience in AutoCad would be an advantage), and it goes without saying that you will have experience of initiating and delivering improvements within processes.
