Quality Consultant - Social Care

£37k + bonus + car + contributory pension + mobile + laptop

Region: Scotland predominantly based in and around the Glasgow area

Our client is one of the UKs largest nursing providers, providing care for elderly, dementia and EMI. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a quality consultant, field based, to carry out regular audits and investigations associated with operational quality in accordance with the Care Quality Commission standards.

The position will be to lead the process of assessing, supporting, developing and promoting all aspects of operational quality across all care homes.

To support the head of operational quality in identifying and driving continuous improvements in processes and procedures to improve the delivery of quality within the care homes.

All applicants must have experience in either one of the following:

Nursing
Social care
Audit
Tissue viability
Pharmacy / medicines management
Infection control
Nutrition
Catering
Hotel services
Mental health

The successful applicant will have experience of working in a social care sector and have a good understanding of care of the elderly, intermediate care, rehabilitation care. Experience of working in an operationally focused role / organisation. Excellent communication and reporting skills, both verbal and written are essential.
