Trainer – Bakery/Food Manufacturing, Leading Food Retailer

Up to £20,000 basic salary
Location: Pontypridd

We’re looking for a Bakery Trainer to plan, facilitate and deliver exceptional training for the Pontypridd bakery of one of the country’s leading food-to-go retailers. Your skills will be crucial to the bakery’s success.

In the role you’ll use the company’s established training and development approaches, and you’ll be responsible for training all new starters, completing personal development reviews for them and assessing any training needs they might have, right through to facilitating activity. You’ll have budgetary control as well – it will be down to you to ensure that the training plan is delivered on time and within budget.

You will give constant on-the-job training, as well monitoring the expertise and training skills of Supervisors and Team Leaders, offering both development and further training as and when required.

In addition you’ll support the same Supervisors and Team Leaders by identifying development opportunities linked to performance management issues, as well as building key effective working relationships with the Production and People teams.

The successful applicant will have strong organisational skills and a very high level of attention to detail. You must have excellent communication skills, and you must have completed Level 4 in Food Hygiene and completed the ‘Manual Handling Train the Trainer’ award.
