The world’s foremost office products retailer with an offer including Technology, Office Supplies and Furniture are currently looking to recruit high-calibre and accomplished Category Managers to join the Merchandising team at their High Wycombe Head Office.

This is a fantastic opportunity for ambitious retail professionals with strong commercial experience in buying, marketing or retail operations looking to diversify their careers in a dynamic Head Office function.

The role will focus on selling and be responsible for maximising sales opportunity and driving growth. As Category Manager you would be tasked with executing the plans of the Regional Category Managers and delivering the requirements of the product category you are responsible for. You will be expected to carry out product marketing, promotional planning and execution, pricing, driving sales activity, performance analysis, competitor and market monitoring as well as stock management.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a Retail Marketing position, or will come from a Retail background with ambitions of moving into Category / Product Management. You will have a strong commercial awareness, and must be able to demonstrate a proven track record of improving sales and profitability. You will have a flexible and adaptable approach along with excellent communication skills. Strong PC skills will also be essential.
