Our client provides domiciliary care and nursing solutions across the Midlands region. Having recently opened a service in Chester, they now require a highly motivated and driven manager to develop new accounts with local councils, social services and private individuals.
Speaking to senior figures within social services and local councils, you will be targeted to increase the hours of care provided as well as ensuring that the packages won can be delivered successfully. In the medium term you will be responsible for the recruitment of care co-ordinators, carers and senior carers to ensure that the delivery of work is effective. A good level of customer service is essential in this role as is the ability to listen empathise, spot opportunities and provide solutions that meet the requirements of social services.
The company pride themselves on the training they are able to provide, so whilst a background in care would help it isn’t essential. However the right attitude, a clean CRB and the ability to sell to people within the public services sector is essential, as is a desire to learn.
It is highly likely that the successful applicant will have worked in one of the following roles – Senior Care Co-ordinator, Domiciliary Care Manager, Services Manager, Business Development Manager, Account Manager, Sales Executive.
