We’re looking for a Management Accountant to work for one of the UK’s leading mobile telecommunications companies. They are one of the fastest growing private companies in the UK, and this is your chance to join them in their new offices in the City.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be primarily responsible for preparing and coordinating monthly management accounts with all relevant variance analyses. In addition you will produce the Board Pack containing a full report on monthly financial activity.

You will have the experience to explain areas of under/over performance (both in terms of cost savings and revenue performance) giving in-depth analysis of root causes for either, and identifying any financial drivers/levers along the way. You’ll also be directly responsible for analysing and producing monthly forecasts and annual budgets, as well as producing Cost Centre reports and balance sheet reconciliations, whilst overseeing accruals, prepayments, and fixed assets/depreciation analysis.

We’re looking for a qualified accountant (CIMA/ACA/ACCA or equivalent) with advanced level experience in a commercial environment. You will have extensive experience in the production of full monthly management accounts to an extremely high standard. You will also possess excellent organisational, leadership, management and communication skills gained within a fast paced environment (ideally within the telecoms industry).

In addition, you will have strong, demonstrable experience of managing financial control systems and process, and you will be used to the budgeting & forecasting processes in a large company. It is essential that you are highly numerate and analytical, and you possess a strong attention to detail, as well as advanced Excel, MS Office and accountancy software skills (MS Dynamics AX would be preferred).
