Based: Cwmbran – candidates are likely to be living in or around Cardiff, Newport, Hereford, Bristol, Pontypool, Ebbw Vale, Monmouth, Pontypool

Circa £26k basic + company car + bonus

An exciting and challenging opportunity has presented itself within this innovative, high quality domiciliary care company. They seek a highly motivated and pro-active Manager to further develop 2 of their branches based in the Cwmbran area.

Currently servicing the Monmouthshire area, the successful applicant will be responsible for growing the number of care hours by forging good relationships with Social Services and Local Councils and Authorities, whilst also seeking ways of breaking into other nearby Social Services and Local Authorities e.g. Cardiff, Newport and Hereford.

In addition to this, the successful applicant must ensure that all care provided is in line with the CQC and other regulatory bodies. Working with 2 care co-ordinators, you will also be responsible for ensuring that there are sufficient carers to carry out the required level of work and that the levels of service agreed with Social Services are met, if not exceeded.

The successful applicant must have managerial experience within a care setting. This could be from a private provider, social services or the public sector. You must have a minimum of a NVQ level 3 in care – ideally level 4, and you need to have a thorough understanding of care standards and ways in which new and further business can be obtained.

It is likely that you will have previous experience in one of the following roles;

Care Manager, Domiciliary Care Manager, Senior Care Co-ordinator, Area Manager, Regional Manager, Project Manager – care, Scheme Manager, Branch Manager – care
