Honestly, while I was compiling this list, I just kept imagining that episode from Friends – you know the one where Joey goes a bit wild with the thesaurus?

Of course, there are a few things you should definitely (probably) NOT say to your boss…

  • Swear words.
  • Excuses.
  • Innuendos.
  • Gossip.
  • Inappropriate jokes.
  • Discriminatory jokes.

And just anything that’s going to make you look lazy and/ or like a nasty person!
