Job Title: Survey Scripter / Data Processor

Duration: Permanent

Location: Leeds/West Yorkshire

Salary: £20k – £26k (dependant on experience) + Benefits

A successful business is currently offering an excellent opportunity to be part of a proactive data processing and survey scripting team.

This role would suit an experienced data analyst / survey scripter from a market research background.

Essential skills include:

* Problem solving
* Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines
* Eye for detail
* Good English and numeracy skills
* Advanced knowledge of MS Excel
* Fundamental experience of Market Research survey scripting / analytical software: Askia, Nebu, Confirmit
* Additional Market Research survey scripting / analytical software:

Snap, SPSS, Quantum, QPSMR Insight etc.

Advantageous but not essential skills (training will be provided):

* HTML / CSS / JavaScript
* SQL Server / MS Access
* Experience of IT support/programming

The job offers variety and entails managing projects from the initial stages of programming online/phone/data entry surveys right through to providing tables/data on completion of the study.

Surveys are scripted using specific market research software combined with basic HTML/CSS. Data processing includes exporting and tabulating data to client requirements using Snap/SPSS/Quantum and other bespoke software.

You will be responsible for your own project and time management, ensuring quality standards are kept, deadlines are met and all members of the project team are kept informed of the project’s progress.

The ideal candidate will be a team player who enjoys problem solving and has the ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines. In particular, we are looking for an individual who is always on the lookout to suggest ways to improve efficiency and isn’t afraid to ‘think outside the box’.

You must hold a full driving licence as occasional travel is required to provide technical support during off site research.
