Job Title: 1st Line IT Support
Location: Telford, Shropshire
Salary: £15,000 to £19,000
Benefits: Pension, Healthcare, Bonus, On Call Payments
Excellent opportunity to join a well-respected specialist IT Services company based in smart offices in Telford with a highly successful UK presence and a reputation for an excellent quality of service.
You will own service desk tickets and see them through to completion or pass them onto the 2nd line team, taking personal responsibility for resolving problems and ensuring that their customers are informed at all stages of the process and are satisfied with the outcome.
You will support a range of technologies including:
Windows Desktop, Windows Server, Exchange, Office 2007 through to 2013 and Citrix clients.
You will love everything to do with IT and how it works as you will be expected to understand a myriad of different infrastructure set-ups with multiple clients.
The role will develop as the company grows as they are experiencing a fast pace of expansion.
Key Experience Required
You will have experience of 1st line support with the following experience/attributes:
- Good clear phone manner
- Good Written English (both spelling and grammar)
- Basic Exchange knowledge
- Good AD knowledge
- Basic server 2008/r2 troubleshooting
- Good Remote diagnostics
- Basic network diagnostics
