Role: 2nd/ 3rd Line Support Engineer
Location: Tunbridge Wells, Kent
Salary: £30,000 – £35,000
Opportunity:
A multidisciplined IT solutions provider specialising in IT Support, Infrastructure, Services data centre and Telephone Systems are currently seeking a 2nd / 3rd Line Support Engineer to join a their fluid IT Team delivering excellent customer service. The role is based in Tunbridge wells and does offer some remote working. A full UK driving licence is also required for this role.
This is an exciting opportunity where you will provide support on the Service Desk and occasionally be involved in on-site project support. You will need to be experienced in the IT Support field and have between 4-5 years of commercial experience.
Role responsibilities:
• Troubleshooting 2nd and 3rd line hardware/software problems remotely. Some onsite maybe required.
• Utilise the Service Management software to accurately record incidents, problems and service requests, maintain accurate asset information and submit knowledgebase documentation.
• Managing Client Support Requests received by email and phone by capturing the correct information, triaging requests, setting, and communicating client expectations, resolving or escalating requests and ensuring client satisfaction.
• Resolve incidents within agreed SLA timescales
• Ability to confidently deliver suggestions to improve Clients technical solutions that would be passed to the projects Team.
• Working with and updating the client management system.
• Ability to produce detailed documentation
