Job Title: 2nd Line Support Engineer
Location: Daventry, Northamptonshire
Salary: £24,000 to £25,000
This is a great opportunity to join a market and industry leading organisation based in Daventry who are looking to strengthen their current IT team with an experienced 2nd Line Support Analyst.
You company are looking to build on your existing 2nd line skills with training in the latest version of Navision ERP software as well as SQL.
You will be an enthusiastic, motivated and skilled 2nd Line Engineer with good experience of providing support via phone, email and face-to-face.
You will own service desk tickets and see them through to completion, taking personal responsibility for resolving a wide range of problems and ensuring that the customers are kept informed at all stages of the process and are satisfied with the outcome.
You will liaise with 3rd party Suppliers to solve problems and work closely with the Head of UK IT and Senior helpdesk staff, delivering good interpersonal skills with different levels of personnel.
You will have experience in supporting a wide range of technologies including but not limited to: Windows 7, Windows 10, Exchange 2010 (they are migrating to Office365 currenlty), Server 2008/2012, Citrix, Active Directory (including Group Policy) and Microsoft Office 2010/16.
Any experience using Microsoft Navision and SQL would be highly desirable, although the ideal candidate will be trained on this.
You will need to have excellent communication and customer service skills.
