I have a new and exciting opportunity for an Account Manager/Brand Manager to join a long standing, independent company that provide bespoke sportswear to the education sector. This really is a unique opportunity and would be perfect for a strong Business Development/Account Manager who has excellent networking ability and who, ideally, has experience of working with Secondary and/or primary schools.

My client are seeking an enthusiastic, personable and pro-active Account Manager/Brand Manager to promote and sell their bespoke Sportswear Range in to the education sector. They have an existing client base already, so you will use your exceptional account management skills to ensure the relationship is maintained and further sales needs are recognised. You will also be responsible for new business development and promoting the brand of sportswear and identifying new clients.
As this position will require a degree of new business, we are after someone who has a passion for securing new business as well as having excellent account management abilities.
To be successful in the role of Account Manager/Brand Manager you will:
• Have previous experience of selling clothing/shoes, sports or active wear
• Have experience of selling in to the education sector (public/private)
• Having some experience working in schools or sports and leisure would be desirable but not essential
• Be a strong networker with good account management skills
• Be able to develop new business and not afraid to go out there and obtain new accounts
• Be happy to work autonomously and without being micro-managed
• Have a full clean driving licence
• Be happy with nationwide travel (company car provided)

The salary on offer will depend on experience and will be from £35k – £45k. The higher end will be paid to someone who has experience of selling a similar product within the same sector. You will also have a company car.
