One of the most progressive and entrepreneurial professional services firms in the UK today are currently recruiting for an Administration Assistant to join their Restructuring and Recovery team at their Southampton office. The company is the 7th largest accounting firm in the UK and is recognised as one of the most progressive and entrepreneurial in the country.
The company provides business advisory, risk management, tax, recovery, and financial management services to a national client base that ranges from individuals and owner managed businesses, to large corporations and public sector organisations. As part of the Restructuring & Recovery team in Southampton, your role will entail providing accurate and timely administrative support to a portfolio of corporate restructuring cases.
You will work within the Restructuring & Recovery team focusing on the provision of an effective and efficient administration support and helping to ensure that internal and external clients receive a quality service in all respects. Daily work will involve; the input of information on to a database to ensure records are kept up to date, liaising with directors and stakeholders of corporate clients, drafting reports and proposals detailing client information relating to their financial situation and ensuring that all matters within the case file are complete with procedures having been followed in line with regulation and best practice.
The ideal candidate for the role will have keen desire to work in an accountancy environment. A background within administration would be desirable but not essential. The role will be suitable for candidates who are college leavers looking to make their first move into an accountancy environment. Full training on insolvency and bankruptcies would be provided so no previous knowledge is required.
You will have excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to work effectively under pressure and to deadline. You will combine a high standard of numeracy with excellent communication skills, written and verbal, with excellent letter and report writing skills. You will be an enthusiastic team player, able to build a rapport with fellow team members as well as clients.
