One of the UK’s leading independent professional services companies is currently recruiting for an intelligent and well organised Administrative Assistant at their Birmingham office. As a key member of the Learning & Development team you would assist the L&D Managers and Advisors in the delivery of a professional, consistent and commercial Learning & Development service across the business.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Administrator to join one of the UK’s leading firms. Your role would entail providing reliable and efficient administrative support to the L&D team, focusing on the administration of personal and management development courses as well as assessment centres.

Key tasks will include managing all hotel and conference bookings, contacting venues, negotiating prices, booking equipment and managing the provision of course material, plus ensuring evaluation sheets are returned and producing course/assessment centre feedback summaries.

Regular national travel to include overnight stays will form part of the role so you will need to be a flexible individual, comfortable with hard work and occasional long hours.

The ideal candidates for the role will be an intelligent individual with experience providing a high standard of administrative support within a professional office environment. You must be well organised with the ability to prioritise a varied workload and work to deadline, with excellent attention to detail. You will be a strong communicator with good IT skills, in particular Excel, able to work on your own initiative with minimal supervision.
