I am looking to recruit a determined and driven individual with a burning desire to help support a growing business to join my client in the position of PA / Office Manager.

They are a privately owned, well established recruitment firm specialising in sales, it, manufacturing and engineering, and as a business they’ve been around since 2002.

If you’ve got previous experience of running the administration function of an SME, ideally in the recruitment sector, then you could be perfect for this role.

The Role:
Ultimately, in the PA / Office Manager role you will be responsible for running the back office side of the business.

Reporting to the Director, you’ll be based in the company’s Birmingham office, and will be specifically responsible for the following:
– Taking responsibility for the reception area and all that entails
– Looking after the facilities management side of the business
– Overseeing basic financial tasks – invoicing, ledgers, petty cash etc
– Managing and developing a small team of people

The Candidate:
The ideal candidate for the PA / Office Manager role will have demonstrable, relevant experience of running the administration function of an SME, ideally in the recruitment sector.

In addition, it’s essential that you possess the following:
– Experience managing the administration function of a business
– Exposure to basic financial management
– Experience managing or supervising people

If you can demonstrate that you are capable of managing a number of business areas to tight deadlines, then you could be perfect for the role.

The Package:
The basic salary for the PA / Office Manager position is up to £25000 per annum for the perfect candidate.
