Role: Applications Manager

Location: Kidderminster, Worcestershire

Salary: £55,000 to £65,000

Benefits: 10% Bonus, Pension

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well established and thriving FMCG business based in rural Worcestershire.

They have recently implemented SAP Business One and want to get the most out of it, hence creating this new position.

The company, although only 60 people currently, have an international presence and a premium product that is going from strength to strength.

You will be the custodian of their new ERP systems with responsibility for all changes, process improvement, requirements elicitation, vendor management and testing, ensuring that they use it to the best of its’ capabilities.

You will manage their IT business systems, including Sap Business One to support business processing for finance, sales, supply chain, warehouse, and production. Identify, recommend, and implement IT solutions to help drive the business forward.

You will provide a vital link between their business systems and our business objectives by supporting and ensuring the successful completion of analysis, building, testing, and deployment of SAP and other core systems.

We expect the role to be a mix of home and office-based post Covid.

Key Experience Required

We would expect that you are currently either an Applications Manager, Systems Manager or Process Improvement Manager with strong experience in ERP Software and getting the most out of it in a supply chain, distribution or manufacturing environment.

You will have an aptitude for understanding and learning new software packages, and the ability to understand end-to-end business processes.

Experience in a fast-moving distribution environment would be welcomed as well as experience in eliciting requirements and testing.
