Area Manager – Care Services
Salary £40,000

I am recruiting for an Area Manager to manage and develop a growing service for carers and people needing care in the West London region

As a health or social care professional you will be responsible for overseeing a small team of managers who supervise Care and Support Workers. Every day will be different – from mentoring a new manager, to trouble-shooting a service delivery issue, to working with the CEO on a new service, to networking locally – your job will be diverse, challenging and very rewarding. You will become the Registered Manager with CQC for your services.

You have the opportunity to fully shape the services delivered in your area and become an integral part of the community sector. You will be part of a small, supportive Senior Management Team responsible for transforming the charity. In addition you will work closely with the CEO to ensure that the leadership of the charity is resilient, and develop your skills and experience as a senior manager

The key accountabilities of the role include the management of service delivery and compliance, performance management, human resource development, policies and procedures and quality assurance.

To be considered for this role you will be an experienced manager within the health and social care sector and you will ideally hold NVQ Level 5 or be willing to work towards. You must have significant management experience in a social care setting along with understanding of the social care market and knowledge of the carer’s agenda and legislation. You will need to have access to vehicle as the role will require travel around the West London area.

The role is based in a charitable organisation that provides a range of care services to adults and children in community and home based settings. They support service users with a range of needs including learning disabilities, physical disabilities, dementia and end of life care.
