I’m recruiting, on behalf of one of the leading providers in residential and nursing care, for a highly experienced Area Operations Manager covering the Wiltshire area. You will be joining a reputable organisation and will play a fundamental role in ensuring that the day to day operations of their services within the area are running smoothly, are compliant with regulatory and company standards.
The position will be working for a reputable organisation that have a number of care and nursing homes in the area. They are a growing organisation who provide high quality residential and nursing care services and you will be providing operational support to Registered Managers in the care homes. You will be managing a large area and will play an integral part in the ongoing operational development of the companies services. Duties will include but are not limited to;
- Managing and developing a team of Care Managers
- Meeting and exceeding company objectives and KPIs
- Working closely with the Senior Management team, supporting them in the achievement of operational growth and development
- Ensure the delivery of exceptional care standards at all times – reporting on any developmental areas for the homes
- Report writing and presenting
- Build close working relationships with service, external stakeholders and colleagues
The ideal candidate must have previous Operational Management experience, ideally on a multi-site basis. You will also have experience of working in a residential care environment. Strong leadership and business acumen skills are essential for this demanding, fast paced position. You will be a confident business developer who is driven to achieve and exceed targets as well as being able to manage people effectively to achieve optimum performance levels.
