Area Sales Manager
£28k to £30k basic, £60k OTE + £4k car allowance
Based: Central Belt – Scotland

Our client’s innovative software and service is changing the way letting agents do business in the UK, helping them grow their businesses, improving their cash-flow and giving them a competitive market edge.
You will be predominantly field-based, focused on growing customers and revenues for the Glasgow to Edinburgh region.
You will work as part of a team as well as autonomously. In addition to your main function you will keep the CRM system up-to-date; provide accurate details on prospects; and manage and maintain a sales pipeline for reporting purposes.
The Job of Area Sales Manager
As an Area Sales Manager you will be finding new letting agencies and initiating contact with them. You will be providing a truly consultative sell, highlighting how the product will save them significant time and money. Key responsibilities include:
- Selling the company’s software solution and service into letting agents
- Book and attend meetings
- Give demonstrations and presentations
- Raise the profile of the company in the market
- Negotiate and close contracts
- Achieve all milestones and tasks
- Achieve sales quotas
The Required Skills and Experience for an Area Sales Manager
As the role of Area Sales Manager will involve discussing finance, the ability to gain trust and to be honest at all times is imperative. With the role being remote, we also need someone who is self-motivated, self-sufficient and has the ability to work autonomously. In addition we need someone who is:
