This leading manufacturer of Chemicals for leisure pools and hot tubs are seeking an Area Sales Manager for the South West region to sell their comprehensive range of products into specialist retailers and Garden Centres. They are offering a basic salary of between £25k and £30k an OTE of £40k and a company car.
As an Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for selling the company’s range of chemicals and dosing equipment into specialist retailers and Garden Centres across the South West of England spanning from Oxford down to Southampton and across to Devon and Cornwall. Key responsibilities include:
- Identifying potential retailers who would be interested in selling the products
- Initiating conversations with the retailers with a view to getting products listed
- Contacting existing clients regularly to increase sales volume and product range
- Negotiating with shop owners and Buyers from larger groups
- Managing your territory effectively and helping to grow it further.
The Area Sales Manager we need is someone with 2 years successful field based sales experience. Ideally having sold a product or number of products in the past. You should be friendly, outgoing, target driven and adaptable as you will be dealing with a wide range of different people. It is essential that you are a car driver
This is a home based role with you expecting to attend sales meetings on a bi-monthly basis.
