Area Sales Engineer – Process Instrumentation

Due to expansion, a very well-established client of ours who manufacture technically advanced valves and instrumentation is seeking an Area Sales Manager to cover the south west of England.
You will be based from home and reporting to the Sales Director, working as an integral part of the technical sales team.
Your role will be to grow the sales within a given area by promoting new and existing products into new and existing accounts; the account portfolio includes both OEM & End Users.
You will be required to converse confidently with managers and engineers at all levels, plan and make own appointments and update and maintain the company CRM system.
The ideal candidate will have solid experience/ knowledge of temperature, pressure and flow measurement equipment as well as valves and manifolds
Previous field sales experience is preferred however consideration will be given to individuals with the right experience that are looking for a step up.
You will also need to be able to combine the mind of a hands-on engineer with that of a conscientious sales person.
