Supported Living Area Team Leader (this is a maternity contract from June 2015 to March 2016)
Manchester and surrounding areas
£21,188 to £25,888 plus bonus and benefits
39 hours per week plus sleep-in duties , overtime and on calls as directed
You will be responsible for leading, directing, deploying & supporting the Team / Assistant Team Leaders and team(s) of support workers. As the Area Team Leader you will be responsible for assisting provisions that cater for people with a wide range of learning disabilities and/or autistic spectrum conditions.
Other duties will involve:
• Assessment, implementation and coordinating of packages and rota’s
• Periodic review and writing of reports
• To maintain financial affairs of the people in the supported houses
• Audit and review care standards of the homes
Needs to be used to working within the supported living or domiciliary care sector and used to working within a fast paced industry. Experience of working with people who have learning disabilities and autism is an advantage and you must demonstrate strong leadership skills. You must be flexible to do sleep-ins, overtime and on calls as directed
