I am looking for an experienced book keeper to join an innovative on line retailer which is seeking to strengthen its finance team.

Reporting to the Company Accountant you will ultimately be responsible for the day to day finance function – in fact your remit includes managing the financial operation up to trial balance.
Specifically you will focus on areas including reconciliation from various on line sales streams (including eBay and Amazon) and in various currency formats including sterling, euro and dollar.
Sales and purchase ledger management will also be your responsibility.
Responsibility for the VAT process will also fall under your remit with a specific requirement for reverse charge process, refunds to disability users and import duty.
You will also take responsibility for both sales order processing and the resulting stock control that forms an inevitable part of that role.
The ideal candidate will have worked in a finance or book keeper function – ideally for an online retailer but it is not imperative.
What is important is that you have a full understanding of reconciliation, VAT and ledger management.
If you can use Netsuite and have knowledge of a second language (French / German) all the better but drive, determination and the ability to work unsupervised are a pre requisite regardless of your experience.
