In the role you will be tasked with ensuring sales targets are exceeded through managing a sales team effectively and building relationships with plumbers, heating engineers and general public customers from the plumbers trade counter.
Based from the company’s store in West London, you’ll report to the Senior Manager and will be responsible for the following key tasks:
– Ensuring the day to day trade counter is running to its maximum efficiency
– Authorising staff holidays and absent days from work
– Monitoring and controlling the day to day running of sales orders
– Ordering and ensuring that materials are delivered when required
– Supervising suppliers and customer stock returns
What experience do I need?
My client is looking for someone who’s got experience of working in or managing a plumbing Trade Counter.
You’ll also need experience of managing or supervising a team.
You will also need to experience in liaising with suppliers and internal departments.
If you’ve got all of that and you can demonstrate good knowledge of plumbing and heating products, then you could be perfect for this Assistant Manager role and we’d love to see your CV.
What can I earn?
This Assistant Manager position offers a basic salary between £36.000 – £40,000 per annum depending on experience, alongside other additional benefits which include 24 days holidays + stats + 2 additional days and 7.5% pension (cont).
