Associate Director – Operational Improvement
Based in London, Birmingham, Manchester or Leeds
Salary: £80,000 – £110,000 + Excellent Benefits

One of the UK’s leading professional services companies is currently looking to recruit a high calibre Associate Director within their Consulting division. The company are planning for significant growth of the Consulting services offered to clients across the corporate and public sector markets, and you would play a pivotal role in developing the offering within the Healthcare sector.

The Consulting team work with organisations to help them recognise and realise their potential through organisation, business and process transformation. As Associate Director you would lead a team responsible for undertaking tasks including project management, process design, identifying process waste and inefficiencies, workshop facilitation, process mapping and controls design, at all levels and for various internal processes and systems, in order to meet clients’ needs and expectations.

As well as coaching and mentoring the team you would support Partners and fellow Directors in the design and delivery of business development initiatives, actively contributing to sales generation through bid writing, delivering presentations and building client relationships. Regular national travel and possibly international travel will form a large part of your role.

The ideal candidate will have significant experience leading consultancy teams in project management / performance improvement environments, and must be able to demonstrate a track record of effectively managing client relationships as well as business development. Significant experience of the provider side of the NHS with an emphasis on acute, mental health and community services will also be required.

You will be degree educated and will have experience building and managing effective relationships at all levels, and will be able to demonstrate excellent communication, interpersonal and influencing skills. You will be a flexible and proactive individual with strong project management and delivery skills, plus the ability perform consistently at a high level and under pressure.
