External Sales Engineer- Industrial Automation & Controls
up to 38k, Company Car + Bonus
Due to expansion, the country’s largest industrial automation solutions provide are looking for an Automation Sales Engineer to help expand the company’s presence in the Yorkshire region.
The successful candidate will have the responsibility of generating all-new business and dealing with key customers across the UK but concentrating in the Yorkshire region, selling Automation, Drives & Motors products & services into OEM’s and end users.
The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for new business development as well as account management, have a full UK driving licence and be prepared to provide references.
You will need to be self-sufficient in generating leads, maximising sales opportunities, have excellent organisational skills and be proactive getting to know the marketplace, negotiating and relationship building.
Proven engineering / technical sales experience in selling PLC’s, Speed drives, Low Voltage Control gear and switchgears is essential, even though training will be provided.
An electrically biased qualification which is related to the industry would be desirable as well as experience of selling into systems integrators.
