An exciting opportunity has arisen, for someone looking for term time work, to join a small organisation – yet with huge plans! – who support people in the North West with autism. This dynamic group have established a way to provide much needed care in the community whilst implementing interventions leading to clients being able to become as independent as possible.
This parent led organisation specialise in Applied Behaviour Analysis. Their approach has seen the organisation start from nothing, and grown into 24/7 provision.
To deliver high quality Applied Behavioural Analysis, on 1:1 basis and in group settings to children and young adults with autism to enable them to pursue their ambitions in relation to education. To provide this, you will support directly with children and young people in school/college. You will need to support the children and young people in all day to day and social activities. You will support students with person centred programmes in a range of environments, as well as transporting clients in own car, where appropriate.
You will be working within the educational environment; therefore this role is for term time only. As the organisation provides other care packages, there may be option for overtime outside of the school times.
My client is looking for an energetic, passionate individual.
You will have experience with working with either children/young people, or adults with complex needs, autism and/or challenging behaviour.
You will be able to commute easily around the Manchester area and have access to your own vehicle.
This role would be ideal for Psychology Graduates or existing Support Workers who have an interest in ABA and/or clinical psychology.
