Bid Manager – Social Care
Location: Oxfordshire, flexible location and/or working from home can be considered
Salary: circa £50,000 + Excellent Benefits
I am recruiting for a Bid Manager to join my client, a nationwide provider of support services to people with learning disabilities, at their head office in Oxfordshire. For the right candidate, a flexible location and working from home can be considered.
Along with a highly competitive basic salary, the successful candidate will be entitled too; 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, pension scheme, childcare vouchers, sick pay and excellent opportunities to progress in the future.
You will be responsible for managing a team of full time Tender Writers and take the lead role in developing new business through bids and the securing of new contracts. This company have recently experienced a period of dramatic growth and are looking for someone who wants to join them in growing the business even further.
This is a pivotal role within the business. Someone who has worked within a similar role within social care would be at a distinct advantage however this isn’t essential.
This is a highly networked role that requires an ability to work under pressure and to demanding deadlines. It requires strong people management skills in a dynamic sales environment.
The ideal candidate for the role will be an accomplished bid management professional, and able to demonstrate significant experience and a successful track record as part of a successful bid/tender team.
