Job Title: Business Analyst

Location: Tamworth

Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 + Company Car, plus other excellent benefits

An established and well known organisation is looking to recruit an experienced Business Analyst with strong knowledge within Software Development. Centrally based in an excellent location, the client provides a creative and stimulating environment where you will work amongst an existing team of Business Analysts, Project Managers, Developers and Testers (amongst others).

Reporting to the Development Manager and working very closely with Developers, you will be responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining the organisations software products. You will understand and document customer requirements, representing the customer and taking ownership of requirements throughout the software development lifecycle. Due to this, it is essential that you will have exemplary verbal and written communication skills

You will have a good understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and have a background in or a solid understanding of development/design. Your role will be split between time spent at the organisations office location in Tamworth and travelling to sites at various locations across the UK, working closely with customers on project requirements. – You will have a company car as part of the package, if successful in this role. You will act as a customer ‘point of contact’ during the software development lifecycle, liaising with developers and throughout – including solution design, issue triage and handovers.

  • Experience as a Business Analyst, ideally within a software development environment
  • Experience in working closely with customers and owning requirements.
  • Project Management, Development or other technical background.
  • Any experience of Balsamiq or similar wireframing/ mockup tool would be advantageous.
  • Experience within an Agile delivery environment (Scrum, XOP, TDD, BDD)

This role requires you to have excellent written and verbal communication skills. You will be creative and dynamic in your approach to work and you will have a passion for technology.
