Business Development Coordinator
Based in Reading

As one of the UK’s leading independent professional services companies we are currently looking to recruit a Business Development Coordinator at our Reading office. Your role would entail providing marketing and business development support, ensuring all work is produced in an accurate and timely manner and to a high standard.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an intelligent and enthusiastic individual to develop their skills within a dynamic market leading business. Reporting to the Business Development Manager and working closely with the marketing and business development team, you would support the growth of the office and the US desk, through targeting new work, maximising service delivery and acquiring new business. Responsibilities will include…

o Helping prepare and coordinate tenders and presentation material.
o Assisting in the management of regional events, including seminars, webinars and conferences.
o Organising client documents, distributing mailshots/e-shots, and producing documents.
o Administering the CRM system, including monthly data cleansing.
o Supporting the delivery of business development plans.
o Supporting the social media strategy.

The ideal candidate will be an ambitious individual, possibly a recent Graduate, looking for an opportunity to develop a successful career in marketing. A good understanding of the full marketing mix, plus event and database management experience, would be an advantage, as will strong IT and social media skills.

You will have excellent organisational skills as well as plenty of initiative, plus exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal. You will need strong project management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work equally effectively alone and as part of a team, and must be committed to delivering first-rate levels of service at all times.

With almost 3,500 partners and staff across 35 offices generating a fee income of £300 million, and having recently undergone a global rebrand, you would be joining one of the three principal mid-market accountancy firms at a particularly interesting exciting time.
