Due to growth, my client is seeking a Business Development Executive to work out of their office in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire. You will be responsible for generating new business opportunities within the Education & Commercial sectors as well as looking after existing accounts with a split of 50% New and 50% Existing business.
We are looking for a Business Development Executive to generate new business opportunities through the Education and Commercial markets.
In the role, the Business Development Executive will be responsible for self generating leads through an existing base of Education & Commercial data as well as looking after 300 – 400 existing school accounts . You will be dealing with a variety of contacts within the Education sector including Receptionists, Business Managers, Bursas and Head Teachers and from within the commercial market Managing Directors, Business Owners and Finance Directors.
This Business Development Executive will be given an existing warm patch within the London and Home Counties region.
This role may be suitable for you if you have a background in any of the following: Sales Executive, Consumable Sales, Business Development Executive, Business Development Manager, Sales Manager, Internal Sales.
The successful candidate for the Business Development Executive role will:
•Have a minimum of five years Sales or Account Management experience from the consumable products, cleaning, packaging or similar industries
•Be driven by new business and have a proven track record of over achieving targets with a money driven attitude
•Be dynamic, ambitious and with a positive mentality
•Be Computer literate, preferably with experience in using CRM and order processing systems
•Have traditional values and work ethics
Based in Hemel Hempstead, my client is a successful third generation family run business and have been established for over forty years with a £9 million pound turnover. Most recently the company have witnessed significant growth and are now looking for a Business Development Executive to help them strive to another level.

The Basic salary for the Business Development Executive role is £25,000 – £30,000 Basic Salary. In addition the company offers addition benefits including a minimum of £10,000 OTE (Uncapped) Pension, 20 days holiday plus bank holidays. Working hours are 8am – 4.30pm.
