A successful and well-established supplier of educational and hygiene supplies is currently looking to recruit a talented and determined Business Development Executive at their Colchester HQ.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking business that places great emphasis on developing skilled members of staff and helping them progress in their careers. Suitable candidates can expect to earn well in the role, with a basic salary of up to £30,000 dependent on experience. Commission is uncapped with the following realistic OTEs in your first 3 years with the business…
– Year 1 – £5,000
– Year 2 – £10,000
– Year 3 – £15,000
with annual salary reviews
These are realistic OTEs however commission is uncapped so the potential is there for the high achievers and highly motivated to earn well in excess of these figures. You would also undergo annual salary reviews with rewards for the best performers, plus at the end of a successful year 1 there would be an option to receive a company car as you start to visit some of your customers and prospects.
The company are also flexible when it comes to remote working, with the option to work from home two days a week after a successful 6 month probation period.
As Business Development Executive you will be responsible for winning new business as well as maintaining and growing existing business through intelligent and tenacious phone activity, playing a key role in the company’s growth. Working to realistic activity and revenue KPIs you will be expected to promote the company’s product range to schools and colleges, establishing rapport and generating business. Initially you will be office-based but in time and once you have demonstrated success in the role you will have the opportunity to combine this with face to face customer visits.
