We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and determined Business Development Executive to join a market leading FM provider with responsibility both for developing new business and managing an existing portfolio of accounts.
Based from head office in the Chelmsford but covering the UK the Business Development person will work within the commercial team actively selling maintenance contracts to a range of customers from the SME to the large corporate.
Your primary focus will be to develop successful business relationships with new prospects, lapsed clients and existing accounts through pro-active call activity and client visits where appropriate.
You will be required to oversee the daily running of your accounts.
Additionally, there will be a requirement for you to attend client visits and trade shows from time to time and this may involve overnight stays.
The successful candidate for the Business Development Executive will:
- Have a solid sales back ground of cold calling and account management
- Ideally have experience of FM type sales (cleaning, waste management, maintenance etc.)
- Be well organised, have a ‘can do’ attitude and be resilient with the ability to pick yourself up when you get knocked back
- Be educated with a minimum of 3 GCSE’s with grade A-C including English
The basic salary for the Business Development Executive is up to £25,000. You will also receive a generous annual on target bonus of a further £25,000 and 28 days holiday.
You will receive excellent on-going support and training on the various products and service the company offer. Progression opportunities will naturally arise as the company are growing year on year.
