We’re looking for a talented Business Development Manager to work for our client.
They want to recruit an exceptional sales person, with an in-depth working knowledge of the health & beauty sector, preferably with experience of selling into leading health and beauty product manufacturers.
If that’s you, and you can demonstrate that you can lead a sales division within a larger business, then you could be exactly what they’re looking for.
The Role:
Reporting to the Sales Director and based in the company’s London office, as the Business Development Manager you will be primarily responsible for the health and beauty division of a leading component manufacturer with a remit to manage both existing accounts and develop new relationships.
You’ll also be tasked with the following:
– The NPD process, working cross functionally with that team to introduce products that challenge the status quo
– Sales planning at individual account level with the responsibility for forecasting that goes with that
– The costing / pricing matrix for your account & product portfolio
The Candidate:
The ideal candidate for the Business Development Manager role will have demonstrable, relevant experience of selling into leading health and beauty product manufacturers.
You’ll also need experience of both winning and developing new accounts and NPD and the process that underpins it.
It’s also really important that you possess a detailed knowledge of both excel formulas and powerpoint and a good grasp pf numbers to be able to easily deal with costing & pricing issues.
You will also need to be able to work with multiple, diverse stakeholders and be a good negotiator.

You could be perfect for this opportunity if you have previously worked as any of the following: NAM, National Account Manager or as a Divisional Sales Manager.
The Package:
Basic Salary: Up to £55,000 per annum for the ideal candidate.
Bonus: You’ll also be able to earn both a personal and company performance bonus, totalling up to £5,000 per annum.
