We’re looking for a talented Business Development Manager to work for our client.

They want to recruit someone with demonstrable experience of selling a technical product or building product.

The Role:
The Business Development Manager role is field-based. Reporting to the Managing Director and covering the north east region, you will be primarily responsible for selling electricity points and energy solutions into builders and direct to businesses across the North East.

In the job you’ll be tasked with the following:

  • Identifying and contacting potential clients
  • Quoting jobs with existing clients
  • Speaking to Finance Managers, Directors and estate departments
  • Managing the sales process from start to finish
  • Generating £20k gross margin a month
    The Candidate:
    The ideal candidate for this Business Development Manager role will have relevant experience of selling a technical product or building product.

    You’ll also need experience of researching, opening and developing business as well as writing and providing quotes.

    The ideal person for the role will be the following:

  • Highly consultative
  • A good sales person
  • Able to sell to multiple contacts

    The Package:
    Basic salary: £40,000 – £50,000 per annum
    Bonus: A personal bonus of up to £20,000 per annum is also available if you hit your targets
