Due to growth, my client is seeking a Business Development Manager to take responsibility of selling the companies range of Data and News service solutions.
We are looking for a Business Development Manager to generate new business sales from warm leads generated from company trials, LinkedIn leads, paid advertising, webinars and various other sources within the business.
In the role, the Business Development Manager will be delivering critical data and news service to a high value client set compromising of investment banks, hedge funds, brokers and support services such as trustees, law firms and software vendors. You will be selling and managing data licence and corporate subscription sales to clients in the UK, Europe and US. The role will be home based, out of the office and in front of clients, presenting the benefits of the companies range of products. The position will be split between new business and account management being a split of 50% (New Business) from warm leads and 50% account management.
The successful candidate for the Business Development Manager will have:
- Experience of selling to the financial markets – ideally to the fixed income sector
- Be bright, articulate and have an outgoing personality
- Be able to demonstrate independent thinking and a self starting attitude
- Have a determination to succeed in a competitive market

The Basic Salary for the Business Development Manager is up to £30,000 Basic. In addition you will receive an addition £30,000 (£60,000) OTE. 25 Days Holiday, pension.
