My client is one of the biggest tea and coffee producers in the UK, due to steady growth they are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager with experience in the food or drinks industry to join their existing sales and marketing team.
Home based and reporting to the Commercial Director the sales person will be tasked with growing and developing a client portfolio within the foodservice sector.
The client based will encompass both wholesaler and end users.
Ably supported by a fantastic head office and support team you will work both with the existing product portfolio and with a focus on NPD too.
To be considered for the BDM role you will need….…
-Previous experience in a sales BDM capacity, ideally within the food or drinks sector.
-To be a sales person who can demonstrate a strong work ethic with the ability to take ownership of the client base.
-Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills, and an excellent telephone manner when building outstanding customer relationships.
My client specialises in producing high quality tea and coffee with a focus on producing coffees of distinction from Africa, South and Central America and Asia.
In addition, the company boasts a range of exceptional teas to complement its offering on coffee.
The role may be suitable if you have previous background as Field Sales Executive, Sales Executive, Sales Manager or Business Development Manager.
It is likely candidates will be commutable from Wakefield, Rotherham, Sheffield, Barnsley and Leeds.
