Due to expansion, our client is looking for a Business Development Manager to promote fire detection and fire extinguishing solutions into Businesses and Organisations throughout the UK.
We’re looking for an enthusiastic Business Development Manager to sell fire detection and fire extinguishing solutions into a variety of Businesses and Organisations on behalf of a well-established company based in Norfolk.
In the role, the Business Development Manager will be responsible for growing and generating all new and existing accounts. You will be expected to look after the complete sales cycle from start to finish so you must be confident generating leads but also have the ability and confidence to close sales.
The perfect candidate for the Business Development Manager position will have a strong and knowledgeable sales background and have the following qualities and experience:
- Experience within B2B Sales
- Knowledge of the fire safety industry
- A proven track record of hitting set targets/KPI’s
- History in selling a service
- A drive for success
You will possess a positive, professional way of thinking, as well as being creative and always thinking of ways to improve the service you offer. You will also be a team player and have an adaptable personality to ensure you can offer the best service to every client you are dealing with.
You must be located within 90 minutes of Central London and the role will be split between working from home, in the field and the office, which is based in Norfolk.

The basic salary for the Business Development Manager is within a range of £30,000 – £35,000 per year dependant on experience, plus an OTE of £56,000 year. On top of this fantastic salary, they also provide a laptop, mobile phone, and fully expensed company car!
