Due to growth, my client is seeking a highly motivated Business Development Manager to help drive new business opportunities for the company. You will be responsible for covering predominately the London area; however will be required to have the flexibility to cover nationally if required.
I am looking for a Business Development Manager to sell the company’s range of IT Back up and Data Recovery in to a variety of industries and sectors. Your role will be 100% new business focused and will be working one day per week in the office based in Brentwood, two days in the field and then a further two days based from home or on the field dependent on client commitments.
You will be working to an initial annual target of £175,000 and from this you will earn £80,000 OTE paid on a month by month basis.
The successful candidate for the Business Development Manager will be required to have the following:
- Have a minimum of 2 years business to business IT sales experience ideally selling in to Public Sector or Financial Services
- Be new business focused with a genuine passion for IT
- Have an ability to communicate and present in a professional manor to all levels
- Be able to work on your own initiative and proactively manage your own diary
Based in Brentwood, the company have been established for four years. They pride themselves on offering excellent aftercare for their clients and have a 99.9% client retention rate. They are in a position to take on a Business Development Manager who is highly focused and have the same passion and vision as the Director to take the business to the next level.
The basic salary for the Business Development Manager position is £25,000. You will also receive a £80,000 OTE with a car allowance, mobile phone, Laptop, 28 days holiday and government enrolled pension scheme.
