A well established, reputable and supportive manufacturer of Office Equipment is seeking to expand its sales team through the recruitment of a Business Development Manager for the Manchester region. Over the past few years they have been growing at a rate of 16% year on year and are looking to continue this growth.
£30,000 basic, OTE realistically £45,000 in year 1, going up to circa £70,000 by year 4.
Pension and Healthcare
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for generating new business throughout the Manchester area. You will be selling the company’s comprehensive range of Solutions and services around office equipment and printing in particular. This will range from devices, through to support contracts and outsourcing contracts. You will primarily be selling into SMEs throughout the Manchester region.
You will be negotiating order values of up to £50k, with average sales cycles of 4 weeks, and whilst the role would include a lot of new business generation, you would receive full support in terms of full training and also some leads from Telemarketing.
Ideally we are looking for someone with a stable proven track record of field sales, having sold products and associated services into business end users in the past. The important part is that you will have a stable and proven track record in sales, be self-motivated, disciplined, organised, resilient, consultative and presentable. You must have very strong communication skills and will be extremely target driven.
