Due to continual growth, my client; a leading supplier of full, hot beverage service solutions to the leisure and hospitality industry, are looking for a Business Development Manager to join them.
Covering the Midlands and surrounding regions, the role of the Business Development Manager will be to generate new business opportunities with large corporate organisations as well as small independent businesses.
As Business Development Manager you will be responsible for selling the company’s range of beverage service solutions, therefore previous experience of working in the food and beverage industry would be highly desirable. With your target market being predominately the Leisure, Hospitality and Catering sectors, (think large Gyms, Hotel chains, boutique serviced apartments, independent and branded Restaurants and cafes alike), you will be field based and targeted on your new business wins as well as retained accounts.
The majority of this position will be bringing on new business; you will be selling a high end product and service and will be given a full introduction on the products and services on offer. Knowledge of the leisure, hospitality and/or catering or leisure industry will be of great benefit to you.
The majority of your role will be field based, working from home when needed.
The successful candidate for the Business Development Manager role will:
• Have business-to-business sales experience selling food and beverage solutions
• Have a good understanding of the hospitality/leisure/catering industries
• Be a driven, passionate sales person who is motivated by new business
• Be a people person, having the capability to build long lasting relationships at all levels
• Have a full UK driving licence
• Be willing to cover a large geographical area; The Midlands and surrounding area
The basic salary for the Business Development Manager role is up to £30,000 with OTE in your first year of £50k. Bonus is uncapped and will be paid on any new business brought in and on accounts retained. You will be given a company car, mobile and laptop as well as stability and future prospects to develop.
