This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Business Development Manager to join a major International Blue Chip Software company in a role that offers excellent training and opportunities for travel. This position will focus on their highly innovative delivery, tracking and logistics software which already has an excellent reputation. Although the company are based in Birmingham and you will be expected to be in the office some of the time we are very flexible on where you are located.
This is a primarily new business sales role focusing on selling their Enterprise Software into both new and installed customers.
Mainly communicating at C and Director level you will be responsible for managing the entire sales process from initial contact through to closing the deal.
You will have internal resources such as Pre-sales, Technical and Marketing at your disposal throughout the sales process. A number of your leads will be provided by a dedicated team. Your key target markets will be Retail, Life Sciences, 3rd Party Logistics (3PL), Automotive, Industrial and FMCG.
Our client requires someone who has a proven track record of New Business Development within enterprise logistics software, supply chain software or parcel delivery and tracking software. The role will cover the UK and EMEA so you must be willing to travel abroad as well as in the UK.
We require someone with excellent communication skills and the ability to sell an enterprise software solution at a Senior Director / C-level. You will be able to work autonomously, plus also have the capacity to work with Managers and Section Leaders within internal departments too
