Due to growth, our client is seeking a Business Development Manager to work from home or out of their office in Nottingham and take responsibility for new business as well as looking after an established base of clients.
We are looking for a Business Development Manager to generate new business sales from the UK and European based clients selling the companies range of translation services in to the Pharmaceutical markets.
In the role, the Business Development Manager will be reporting in to the General Manager of Europe generating sales from new companies, whilst maintaining presence with, and account managing existing clients. You will have full autonomy within the role managing your own diary.
The successful candidate for the Business Development Manager role will:
- Have experience of selling Translation services in to the Pharmaceutical arena
- Be new business focussed and have a mature attitude towards work
- Have excellent communication skills and be able to confidently sell at all levels
- Be motivated to want to succeed in sales and hungry to generate new business
Based in Nottingham, the company is an American owned business that was established in 1990. Currently turning over $36m with growth plans of $50m for 2016. In the last few years, the company have already experienced significant growth.

The basic salary for the Business Development Manager role is £40,000 – £50,000. In addition you will earn a minimum of £20,000 OTE (First Year) and £40,000 OTE (Second Year). 20 Days Holiday plus Bank Holiday, 5 sick days, Healthcare, Pension and petrol allowance for visits at 45p per mile.
