Business Manager needed for social care company that have several care homes and domiciliary services across the
Southwest. Salary up to £45K dependent on experience.

They set up over 30 years ago and are a family fun business who have had great success. They are now looking for a Business Manager to help them to continue to grow mainly focusing on their domiciliary side of their business.

Their head office Is based in Dorset, but a candidate anywhere in the Southwest would be able to work from a domiciliary branch most local to them, with occasionally travel to head office when required.

The Position:
As the Business Development Manager your duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with external professionals including Local Authorities, CCG’s and commissioners
  • Driving commercial growth for the organisation by identifying, cultivating and growing relationships with funders, clients, charities, providers, and other relevant bodies
  • Delivering compelling and successful bids
  • Develop accurate and consistent tender bids with the help of bid contributors
  • Contract negotiations and service planning

The Person:
To be considered for the Business Development Manager role you will need:

  • Experience of working within a social care organisation within a similar position
  • Commercially aware
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills
  • Experience of writing bids and responding to tenders
  • Experience of building and maintaining professional relationships with external stakeholders
  • Able to demonstrate contributions of business growth
