I am currently recruiting for a care co-ordinator in Birmingham City Centre for a successful local domiciliary care company.
You’ll need to have experience of working in the care sector at a supervisory level, either as a Care Co-coordinator, Team Leader or Field Care Supervisor. The salary for the post is circa £17,000.
Based in the office in central Birmingham, you’ll be primarily responsible for co-ordinating the work rotas for a number of domiciliary care workers. You’ll be liaising with staff and clients and dealing with any calls that need allocating.
You’ll be working as part of a a team to ensure that high quality care is delivered to elderly people living in their own homes, and will be liaising directly with staff, clients, families of clients and healthcare professionals.
You’ll communicate effectively any changes and ensure that accurate records are being kept at all times.
You’ll also be part of the on-call rota, where you will be responsible for the on-call phone out of hours on a 4-6 week rota basis. When on call you’ll deal with any emergencies that arise.
- You’ll need experience at a supervisory level such as Team Leader, Care Supervisor, Care co-ordinator, deputy manager.
- A background in the Care Sector is ESSENTIAL; you’ll need to demonstrate an understanding of CQC requirements.
- Ideally you will already be qualified to NVQ level 3 in Care
