Care Co-ordinator/Field Care Supervisor
£18k (plus on-call enhancement)
Full Time (40 hours)
We have a brand new dual role for a Care Co-ordinator with Field Care Supervisor responsibility based at our clients Southampton office. My client specialises in learning disabilities and this position is due to a massive growth in the their business sector.
We have a brand new role working with a locally based domiciliary care provider within the Southampton area. You will work in conjunction with and report to the Care Manager / Assistant Manager. Your remit is to ensure that high quality of care is delivered to adults and children with learning disabilities in their own home. This role will involve working Monday to Friday with rota’d weekends and on-call.
Your main duties will be:
* To schedule rotas for the care staff
* Involved in the writing of care plans and keeping them up to date
* To take part in co-ordinate and supervise a group of staff and resources
* To ensure the promotion of independence and individual rights of service users
* To provide supervision and support to front line staff
* To monitor and audit information regarding staff and service users
* To undertake complex environmental risk assessments and contribute to the moving and handling assessments process
The successful person for this role must have a passion working within the health and social care sector, within a domiciliary setting, and have an understanding of relevant legislation and statutory requirements. Ideally you will have an NVQ Level 3, or willing to undertake this qualification, as well as being IT literate. It is essential that you have a full UK Driving and access to your own vehicle. You must be willing to take part in delivering care should be need arise.
