The role is based in a purpose built care home for older adults with dementia care needs. The home currently has a good CQC report although there are some challenges. This is an excellent opportunity to join a charitable organisation with a supportive senior management team.
There are many duties involved in the role of Home Manager including:
- All areas of home management

The successful candidate will understand the importance of establishing a highly visible presence in the local community and will build good relationships with local healthcare professionals. You must have an excellent understanding of the new CQC standards and have the skills to ensure that these are met and maintained within the home.
As the Registered Manager you will be pivotal to the well-being and advancement of the home and the team and so you must have strong leadership and communication skills.
The successful candidate must have previous experience in a similar setting, with specific understanding of care for older people and those with dementia and you must hold NVQ Level 5 Health and Social Care and ideally Registered Managers Award
