We’re looking for a talented Service Manager to work for our client.
They want to recruit someone with demonstrable experience of managing a service supporting adults with learning disabilities or mental health.

Please note: In this position you’ll be required to work some weekends and occasionally cover on-call in unsociable hours. Full details of how this will work will be revealed at interview.

The Role:
As the Service Manager you’ll report to the Managing Director and will be primarily responsible for running 2 learning disability homes, supporting 8 adults with mild and moderate learning disabilities.
In the job you’ll be tasked with the following:
– Running the homes effectively
– Ensuring compliance and quality of care is delivered
– Ensuring there are a number of activities for the service users to do
– Managing rota’s
– Supporting families and dealing with all issues

The Candidate:
The ideal candidate for this Service Manager role will have relevant experience of managing a service supporting adults with learning disabilities or mental health.
In addition, it’s essential that you possess a NVQ level 3 in care as a minimum.
The ideal person for the role will be the following:

– A natural leader
